Doing as dr's ordered resting. Left hospital on Monday and this was taking wednesday by one of the kids....ignore the pink and flowers...you'll never see again!! I can move head about a inch to each side. Pretty much living in bedroom laying down and taking short walks. Trying to whin myself off the meds. Thursday-swollen and red. Can still only move head about a inch to either side....Faith just took this one
Got tired of living in bedroom since monday so now in recliner with the only pillow that doesnt hurt. i better be able to drive on 2nd
Stitches removed. Swollen and red so dr put me on antibiotics. Also put me on 10 days of morphine along with my oxy and muscle relaxers. MRI next week to check CSF flow, syrinx's in the thoracic spinal cord and he also wants to check the rest of the spinal cord.
Take it easy and dont start weening off the meds too quickly, you will regret it. I had more pain about the 5th -8th days than when I first came home. If you do start weening off the pain meds that is great but keep taking the muscle relaxers regularly
